What kind of peace between Palestinians and Israelis are we talking
about today? This is the only one, which exists for the time being -
between the Olmert cabinet, and PNA and Fatah leader Abbas, who only
controls some West Bank areas. It is on this territory that a
Palestinian state could be proclaimed, but it is not likely to exist
without direct Israeli and U.S. support, and the donor aid of the UN
and Arab sponsors.
